Like most inventions, it originated out of necessity. The plow would knock down the mailbox by breaking the support or anchor (as some call it). Summer installations weren't to bad but the deeper into winter it was, the harder it was to setup again. Many make-shift setups were attempted but the plow and mother nature had their way with each of them. Spring warmth would melt the snow from under the different make-shift supports and down they would come. But the ground was still very frozen. Thus, the start of a creation.

After many changes we now have for you the product of years of work that involved a lot of trial and error, design and redesign. Not unlike the child you nurture into adulthood, our baby matured. FHWA acceptance meant baby graduated from Development High.
